About Me

A picture of me!

Hi, I'm a rising senior at Georgia Tech studying Computer Science with a focus on devices and intelligence. During my time at Georgia Tech I've been able to learn about a lot of cool things, but some of my favorites have been embedded systems, robotics, discrete math, and web development. I'm passionate about building cool products that have a positive impact on others.

Projects I've Worked On

GA Chartbuilder

This is an npm package that fetches data from Google Analytics and builds a visualization using chart.js returned as HTML or an image. I built this after working with Google Analytics during my internship and found that many of the features that my team wanted were not available, specifically using Google Analytics in a more programmatic way.

Node.js
Google APIs
Chart.js

Node Microservice

I built a containerized, fullstack web application using garden for development as part of the onboarded process for my internship this summer. I wrote an article about it on my dev.to blog if you want to know more about it!

IoT Goniometer

For the final project for my Embedded Systems Design course last semester I worked with a small team on an IoT joint range of motion measurement device. The device recorded static and dynamic measurements and used an nginx server to send the measurement data to the web app that displayed the data.

This project was a challenge because most of the work was done with the rest of my team being remote due to COVID-19. I had all of the device parts so I did most of the design and assembly of the device as well as writing the app that the user interfaced with.

Python
Nginx

BGCMA Bus Safety App

I worked on this project with my organization, Bits of Good, during the Spring 2020 semester. We were tasked with creating an application that makes it easier to track which kids took the bus to the Boys and Girls Club of Metro Atlanta after school and optimize bus routes for the Boys and Girls Club.

We were able to meet with the leaders for the Boys and Girls Club we were working with to get feedback on what we were building and make sure it was useful. My favorite learning experience from this project though was getting to work with skilled designers and have that experience of working as a team to build an intuitive user interface.

QR Code Book Scanner

During my winter break from school last year I worked on a QR code book scanner for my mom's school. They had a library of books to loan out only to teachers and needed an easy and efficient way to keep track of how many books were available and which teacher had which books. I loved having to think about how to implement all of the features that the app needed and design and implement the user interface all by myself!
